Has anyone heard anything about this? Supposedly a new film ‘Consequences’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch and in pre-production now. First I have heard of it.

UPDATE: I realize the poster is a mock-up, as it is supposedly in pre-production and therefore wouldn’t have been shot yet. Looks like it was supposed to have been made in 2012, wasn’t but they now have it for pre-production in 2013. Perhaps still trying to get it made. Here is the synopsis from another source:
Anne Marie saw herself as a single mother living in rural West Ireland. Everything in her life seemed ordinary.
That was until the day Brendan O’Donnell came to her flat and threatened her and her baby with a knife. Before leaving he threatens to cut her face so that every time she looked in a mirror she would see him. He was her brother.
Anne Marie has Brendan sectioned. He is arrested and committed to the psychiatric hospital. But within a week the doctors release Brendan, and within the year he has killed three people.
Anne Marie became the sister of a murderer, a man described in the press as the most evil man in Ireland. Her ordinary life was over. She had not committed any crime and yet she was guilty by association…Sounds interesting anyway. Let’s keep an eye out. I could do with a bit of B with an Irish accent, serial killer or no. But he’s probably too big for this now?

Yes, I’m aware of Little Favour with Adam, P-Nut et al but that was intended to be a short with/for friends and was stated to be a not for profit production. I just meant that they obviously, from the research, tried to get THIS one off the ground in 2012 and didn’t make it, so I was speculating that it could go the same route as Phoenix.
